Plants vs. Zombies Plush: Royal End is the fifteenth episode of Season 3 of Plants vs. Zombies Plush. It aired on July 19, 2017.

Synopsis[]

This is not the last episode. However, it is the final battle for the Graveyard Ops! It's time for the battle with the Royal Hypno Flower herself.

Plot[]

Head Zombie is addressing the zombies, saying it will be one of their last battles against the plants, with Norm replying "yes master" to him. Head Zombie asks why he keeps saying that, but Norm simply replies "yes master," so he decides not to ask. He then explains the Royal Hypno Flower will be out there and planning to kill them, but she won't spawn until something called "strong coffee" is planted (Captain George wonders why this is, and is told it's because plants love coffee). HZ also says they will get "boss slots" since the plants do as well, with Ed, Lobber, Birthday Boy, Disco & Arnold chosen to fill them. He also unveils their foot soldiers to compete with the plant ones (one of whom is Duckweed) then suggests they go out and "kick some plant behind."

The zombies head out, and with their signature "oh no, the zombies are coming" line, the plants move out as well. Apple Bomb spies a Pirate Minion and forces the zombie to eat him, killing it. Chomper then deals with 2 pirates, Duckweed & Norm, while Head Zombie orders his troops to plant the coffee when they reach the center. Coney uses a huge gun to attack the plants, as Paco, Snow Pea, Peashooter & Chomper move in. From above, Captain Bubblebeard attacks Audrey until Snow Pea makes the save, allowing Newspaper to plant the coffee and fight off Chomper. Jocky & All-Star both move in and take out Sunflower & Paco, while Battalion manages to finish off Chomper, but not before he eats Imp #1. Citron, Sunny, Iceberg Lettuce & Kernel-pult fight against several zombies, while All-Star manages to tackle Audrey. Next, Coney appears, doing a parody of Elmer Fudd's catchphrase, and injures Kernel with his gun, but Sunny arrives to heal him. Meanwhile, Captain George blasts Iceberg Lettuce and Snow Pea.

Super Brainz, alongside Bolbi, then calls out to his fellow zombies, showing that RHF has spawned. The plant leader asks the zombies if they really think they can defeat her, noting she never loses, as Paco & Sunflower taunt them. Jocky & All-Star decide to attack first, but are easily taken down. RHF then summons Hypno Shroom, who hypnotizes Bolbi, sending him to attempt to eat Super Brainz, who fights off the imp and sends him at the large flower. After the zombies dodge her rainbow beam, Super Brainz attacks with Braindoukens, leading to both Sunflower & Citron blocking the blasts for their leader. Peashooter checks on Sunflower, wondering why she took the hit for RHF, but she is uncertain, saying it felt as though she was being controlled. Meanwhile, George goes down to her rainbow beam, and she uses her transformation beam to turn Newspaper into a goat. This angers Coney, who fires his gun at her. Meanwhile, Paco laments on tougher the zombies appear to be and tries to fight off All-Star, to no avail. RHF summons Mac and he begins firing, but she questions why he is not moving any closer to the zombies. He replies that he refuses to work for someone who decided to betray his friends, and makes others blow up their own kind. This gets the attention of Coney, Super Brainz and a now recovered Newspaper, and Bubblebeard asks if that refers to what happened with the wagon, with RHF admitting that "the cat's out of the bag now."

She then takes down Jocky & All-Star again and fights off both Battalion and Super Brainz, bragging that she is invincible. Hearing this, Head Zombie takes out a sword and suggests a duel, calling it his "last stand," as the other zombies look on. After Royal Hypno Flower insults him by calling him "Purple Nurple," the two battle and have a back and forth fight, with both using all they have. Super Brainz, Bubblebeard & Newspaper rush to Head Zombie's aid, but RHF eventually fights them off. She then finds herself blasted by Mac, who claims his arm slipped; when RHF fires a rainbow beam in retaliation, All-Star blocks it, to Mac's surprise, revealing he did it cause Mac was "on our team." Seeing this, Peashooter teams with Head Zombie to help attack her, while she fells Coney with a rainbow beam, then summons for Tall-nut, Wall-nut and Fume Shroom to aid her. Head Zombie manages to get through Tall-nut, but before he can attack, RHF reveals she is holding Caput hostage and threatens to turn him into a Hypno Shroom. Believing she's won, she begins a speech on a new plant order, before Bubblebeard knocks Caput free from her clutches. This leads to her confronting him, as Sunny & Kernel-pult realize Plantoid Z is responsible for her actions. Royal Hypno Flower corners Bubblebeard and asks if he has any last words before "you become nothing more but recycled grey matter," leading the pirate zombie to tell her to "watch your backside." Caput, using his dad's sword, then attacks her from behind with it, destroying her for good. Bubblebeard then congratulates the young zombie, offering him the job of second in command on his crew.

Royal Hypno Flower then disappears, to the surprise of both Peashooter & Wall-nut, and Mac explains it's because she was made of pure Plantoid Z. He admits that's why he attacked her, and it took him a while to figure that out, adding she became dust after being killed. Spellslamzer suddenly appears and congratulates the zombies on their win. They are confused as to who he is, until Peashooter tells them, noting he's been playing pranks on them since the events with the Slot Machine. Spellslamzer reveals he was the one who made Royal Hypno Flower in the first place admitting he did so to make it the "perfect zombie killing machine" but that she went out of his control. When Peashooter asks where she went, he explains she turned back into a seed before disappearing. Peashooter then thanks Head Zombie for helping expose RHF for what she truly was, and HZ accepts the thanks, but admits the plants will be in trouble, due to Zomboss attacking the roof with his "Brainiac Maniac wave." This causes Peashooter to run off nervously, as Head Zombie suggests the zombies should have a victory dinner.

A caption then appears saying "Wait, What happened to the Boss Zombies?" Back at the zombie's HQ, Lobber & Arnold are playing a The Binding of Isaac themed card game, while Disco & Birthday Bay compare spins. Ed shouts that he is bored and wonders when Head Zombie is coming back, but Lobber claims he abandoned them to have the day off, which Arnold & Little Munchkin are okay with. Ed then notices the card of Monstro and wonders if it's a gumball, and continues to think so, even when Lobber tells him otherwise. Moments later, Pete arrives saying he has an announcement- the final battle is coming and they need to get into position. Ed leaves to do so, but Lobber claims he's fine where he is. Zomboss's voice is heard and says that his "little friend" won't be happy about that, with a large hand grabbing Lobber (and his package) and dragging him off, before doing so to the other zombies as well.
